Virtual marketing depends mainly on social media. Using YouTube, or twitter, or Facebook, all cause a younger audience to see the advertisement and remember it or use the information giving then. Many companies created catchy theme songs, causing a person later to indulge in purchasing the product. As social networking grows so do the abundance of virtual ads being made. Causing more people to see the ad and want the product being shown. There are times that you search for a product and are then given more links through ads in social media. This marketing allows for people to be advertised to and them to not know they are being marketed too.
