This chapter is on documenting sources and when do do certain citations. There are different forms of style that one may use. There are descriptions surrounding MLA and APA and more in this text. There are examples of MLA and APA given. I didn’t know the difference before now. The two styles are described one after the other allowing one to compare them. Also the book talks about the forms a text in the paper may come in. There are quoting, summarizing, and paraphrasing. With quoting, there are different lengths are how they are placed in a paper. Some may be in block form others in quotations. With paraphrasing and summarizing, I never could tell the difference, but the book explains them well saying a paraphrase is off a smaller amount of text, where a summary is off a larger text, being paragraphs long.
