In this chapter it discusses the steps many use to write a research paper. The first step is to brainstorm and lead to deciding what topic one should write about. Then there is discovering questions for the topic chosen. These questions begin simple and as more resources are read they become more in-depth. After the questions, there is the proposal that is made. As the writer writes they should be creating a bibliography of the sources used in the paper. With a bibliography, it is better to have an annotated one, including a brief description of the source. A proposal can be asked for or not, but to have one helps to organize the paper. Research papers take much work but it there are many parts that are not show in the final copy that is turned in.
