Every book, music, movie, is different experience. There are hundreds of categories white happen to be genres. Writing fits to any thought a person can elaborate on. The style of the genre is important also. Ethos, pathos, and logos play a role as well. They help determine the type of writing style to be used. These are important in the writing because of the readers view of the article. Genres help categories the articles main focus. These broad categories(ethos, pathos, and logos) help the writer choose of topic for its audience is a reflection of their view of the article. Some writers also research the topic before writing the article on it, to allow then to know the full understanding of the side taken. The writer most likely choses a side to write about and show there point of view. Genres come in a range of non-controversial vs. controversial. When choosing a genre there is a check list: purpose, audience, rhetorical appeal, modes and media, elements in the genre, style, design, and sources. Writing will follow this form and then add. These are the basics that every writing should have and then some writers add more.
